Sam Raimi's Horror production company Ghost House have hired Lucy Liu to star in RISE, about a reporter who wakes up dead in a morgue and vows bloddy revenge on the vampires who killed her. Written by Sebastian Guitierrez who also wrote Gothika.Should be crap then!

I think any new decent horror will most likely come from unknown and independent film makers, the best and most original work usually does. Big studios always churn out sterile and soulless films, because they dont know how to create good horror films, because they dont understand the genre or know the essence of what makes a good horror movie.
