Confederacy (droid army) vs. Rebel Alliance

The droid army is based on numbers while the Rebels rely on pure strength within their few, independent individuals. Who will prevale?

Droids out think, out smart and out fight the rebels, all the while out numbering them.

True, but the Rebels have hope and never give up. They did, after all, face impossible odds againts the Empire and succeeded.

If Lucas, or anyone else in Hollywood is, the rebels win.
If reality dictates it, then the droids. They wouldn't be retarded enough to either
A) Keep a big bloody hole in their greatest weapon.
or
B) EXPOSE THE SUPERSTRUCTURE ON ITS REPLACEMENT.

But even in reality I still think the Rebels have a chance. Don't get me wrong though, I think the droids are great.

So the droids would be outsmarted, but the rebels were to scared. Just look at ROTJ they wanted to retreat immediately when they found out they were expected... Logical but something that would have turned out wrong. The great amount of numbers the droids have would make the republic cower and die

I think the rebels would win. They were smarter and had something to fight for. Battle droids are pretty stupid, and I think the Empire would crush the Confederacy. The rebellion did pretty good against the Empire so they win.

The rebellion ran away from the Empire, never really facing them head on.. Well not until their final battle which as you might remember was a great loss for the Republic... I still don't understand why the Empire didn't just finish them off after the Death Star was destroyed but that wouldn't really be a good ending now would it be?

Anyways the Rebels never really tried they fight they more the kind of people that took out vital places where the Empire was weak. Something that would really hurt them but never really destroy them. If they had a chance in hell against the Empire they would have send their fleets to Coruscant and leveled the Senate building.

Droids. Their fleet is better structured, while the rebels just have mixed ships from who-knows-where. Rebels would be outnumbered by far.

Rebel Alliance would rule, because if they can defeat the Empire, they can defiantly defeat the Confederacy.
