It's a figure of speech. It means to ask "what's the hurry?"

Hey, it makes good ham *pulls out a wierd looking metalic item* I'm from outta town *places the boar body into the metalic box, and a blue light emmits from it. As the light fades I pull out the boar or what's left of it. The smell of freshly cooked meat, fills the air* I'd eat it raw, but I don't think you are used to that...
