Maul. One hit and Vader is screwed. Maul is raw rage, power and finisse, whereas Vader is mostly power.

I would say Maul as well. He is in much better shape and is a much better swordsman. Vader is as slow as hell.

I'm going with Vader. He would find the weakness of Maul and exploit it. Then, he would use his mastery of the force to kill Maul.

No. Maul does not pack a huge punch, he's just fast and does rapid hits but the're not that powerfull blows. Vader however is amazing in strenght and could just slice the hell out of Maul if he was off guard or got to close.

i go for vader, and he already killed maul in the comics, altough it was a pretty even figh.
but isn´t vader supposed to be one of the most powerfulls, he´s the one.
he may be half machine, but in the mastery of the force he should be much more powerful then maul

Uhh Mauls slow?Did you see him fight?He just goes at it slicing half the place up.He wil lose no doubt about that.BUT he isn't slow.

1. which vader we talking about here? RotS? ANH? RotJ? comic-book?

2. i'm not afraid to admit i don't know that much about Maul other than the obvious stuff from TPM and some more stuff i've read on these forums (better to admit rather than be an idiot that proves to know) but in the movie at least i haven't seen too much of his control over the force, while i've seen Anakin with great control of the force in the movies, as well as in the CW series, and as Vader, so IMO in the force department, Vader would surely win. As for the lightsaber duel, if it comes to that, i don't know which would win, most likely Maul if he got close enough
