A Marvel European Union sponsored Super-team. I guess I'll just call them Excalibur. Whatever.
After seeing the trouble caused by superheroes in America and the Civil War with them, the European union rounds up its superheroes, a bit more politely though, asking them to come together as their homelands have done to fend off whatever dire threats may arise.
Omerta: From Italy. Don't know much about him, he appeared in Alpha Flight awhile back.
Blitzkrieger: From Germany, currently dead, but since when has that ever stopped anyone in comics?
Vormund/Hauptmann Deutschland: From Germany, as one of his aliases means Captain Germany.
Shamrock: From Ireland, last appeared in Excalibur with her luck powers having run out, but that can be rectified easily enough.
Le Peregrine: From France, last appeared in a Solo Avengers tale with Hawkeye, great fighter and a flight harness similar to Falcon's.
Hercules: Representing Greece. He was craving a good souvlakia, so he went home to Greece, and they made him a deal. Said there would be a lot of adventure and monsters and beautiful women. He accepted.
Spitfire: From Britain, superspeed and experience, as she served during WWII in the Invaders.
Syrin: Ireland again, asked by some of her father's Interpol contacts.
El Aguila: Spain. After being depowered in M-Day, he left New York and went home to Spain. The Spanish government tracked him down, offered him some high tech weapons (since his power originally was just to shoot meager bolts of electricity and electrify his sword, he didn't lose much) and he's back in action.
Captain Britain/Lionheart: Britain, obviously. She doesn't really have anything else to do.
Union Jack: He's just badass. Check out his upcoming mini-series.
Black Knight: Dane Whitman rocks, he's got mystic armor and is a great scientist too.
If I could turn this into a story, I'd develop some more heroes, the European Union has somewhere around 25 members I think, so it's not fair to have half the roster be British. Ah, well, Marvel is seriously lacking in Euroean characters.
I'd like to develop a new Dr. Druid character with lots of celtic mythology ties, he'd be an elemental mage, harnassing and controling the classic four elements in various ways.
I'd also develop a few Turkish heroes and have their relationship with the new "Excalibur" mirror the Turkish/European Union relations at the moment.
For foes they could tackle Diablo, Axis Mundi (Der Gottskrieger, Warrior Woman, Merrano, Baroness Blood) and have some weird tension with Latveria and I'd like to feature Dreadknight at some point.
Within the series I'd also like to see a Middle Eastern/African team, although political tensions within those countries might lead to a few solo, national heroes instead of a team. I'd also like to feature Winter Guard and create a new China Force and see some more of Big Hero 6.

This is a full fledged Squadron Sinister.
Dragonrider: An Atlantean warrior with a mystic conch allowing her to command the life of the sea. In the comics it only mentions the conch as being mystical, but I'd extend that to her armor as well, allowing it to give her greater strength and amphibious abilities.
Dr. Spectrum: Alice Nugent, lab assitant of Hank Pym, great scientist and specialized in communications. Now weilds a new/revitalized Prism.
Hyperion: An alien, possibly a lost Eternal, Zhib-Ran from the microverse with a gammut of superpowers. Superstrength, speed, senses, flash/atomic vision, etc. He was the original Sinister Hyperion to appear, but soon left to return to his home in the microverse. The Grandmaster created a duplicate of him that was eventually killed. Genis-Vell's repeated enterances and exits from the microverse unintentionally blew up his planet, leaving Zhib, aka "Mark" the only survivor.
Blackwing: Joseph Manfredi has replaced Nighthawk. Son of the crime boss Silvermane, he's an adept fighter and criminal with knowledge of organized crime.
Power Princess: Zarda Maximus (my creation). Illegtimate daughter of Maximus the Mad, she is as physically powerful as he is mentally, with great strength, speed and access to some Inhuman technology. She was concieved and born during Maximus' first coup, but this was unkown to him. Blackbolt found out and had her placed in adoption as a child. Later she found out her identity and has pledged revenge against the Royal family.
Speed Demon: James Sanders was gifted with super-speed after creating an alchemical formula using his skills as a notable chemist.
Super-Skrull: Kl'rt, exiled by the Skrull empire, he has landed on earth, intent on using it as a base by which to retrain and attain power, to hopefully return to the Skrull one day and make them pay for betraying him.
Lethal Angels
LETHAL ANGELS
Toxin- Loose cannon of the group but the most muscle, twice the power of Venom or Carnage and twice the crazy.
Nightwing- Team leader. May not be the oldest but definitely the most team and hero experience from the years working with the greatest.
Witchblade- Sara Pezzini, the eye candy and the healer, potentially the most powerful, however, like Toxin, does not have full control over her powers.
Hellboy- The go-to guy, can help Dick with the brainwork and deducting and can do more than enough in the battlefield.
& Finally
Brother Voodoo!!!- Mystic nut and token black guy all into one! Fire manipulation, smoke screens accompanied by the sound of drums, and the ability to control lower life forms, I think pretty much covers everything else you need in a team.
Based in SoCal and designed for a more DC comics world, the Angels wear their original costumes except an additional LA over their hearts.
