Silver Surfer vs Martian Manhunter

<<come on you´re smarter then that, if surfer used that power instead of beating someone, the comic wouldn´t sell that much.>>

true, but that can often be said in comics. that's why it's important to go by what was seen and demonstrated, and not on pure speculation.

<<some ppl don´t know but SS has actually telepathy>>

it's a passive power at best. and the fact that he went against cable was refuted by the fact that loki and dracula has both manipulated him with their mental powers. perhaps cable wasn't trying to do the same thing.

<<i agree that MM is one of the toughfest guys in DC, in superman vs wonder woman vs hulk vs xavier vs MM threads i´m always backing MM, beacuse i know how powerfull he can be, and i´m not saying he wouldn´t give a good fight, but in the end i don´t believe he could beat silver surfer (using all his power)>>

and lastly, i agree. but, contrary to what's been said, it is NOT impossible that MM wins this fight.

ps-norrin, i've been collecting ss pretty much since his first appearance. i've all the first series, and nearly all the subsequent series's up until about 2 years ago where i stopped seriously collecting. i have a . . . passing knowledge of the character and what he can do. people still overrate him, but more importantly, they do so with by disregarding others and by using simple statements like - he can blow up a planet so he'll win!! or worse, they use arguments they've only read on the forum. contrary to what you said, i think most HAVE NOT read enough ss. if they did, they would see he is not as powerful as some believe him to be. though he IS very powerful nonetheless.

rules:
Bloodlust

It is assumed that each contestant will fight to his/her best ability, but still within the character's personality, unless specified otherwise. That means they will use any powers at their disposal. For example, even though The Flash doesn't clock each of his own opponents in the first picosecond in his own comic, it is assumed that is a viable tactic on this board since it is a proven fact that he possesses that level of speed.
It is also assumed that the characters fight at their optimum levels of ability - not explicitly weakened or unusually powered up for those who have variable power levels.

beyond light speed attacks game over

I was implying fist to fist combat as MM is superhuman, andSS is just normal, he could phase through and punch perhaps, I already know this fight favors ss..giljotiini

You seen what happened to Vision when he tried that? Wasn't pretty.

everything has been said that can be said MM has absolutely no chance.*here let me turn you into fire*

<<*here let me turn you into fire*>>

sigh . . .

he can't 'turn him into fire', but, this IS a perfect example of what i mean about people overrating surfer's powers. after he turns MM into fire, maybe he can change thanos into a glass of water the next time they hook up and just drink his problem away . . .

and yes, ss has lightspeed - MM is close to that level as well. the speed advantage COULD be negated by the MM's mental powers. and of COURSE for the sake of this debate i am supposing they would work. continued assaults, combined with energy/physical attacks (and MM is arguably as strong as a peeved hulk - at least for a while) could weaken ss enough to the point where MM CAN ko him or come up with a way to do so.

unlikely YES!! impossible - you haven't read enough dc OR enough marvel if you believe it is impossible for MM to beat ss. but i think this horse has been beat enough . . .

🙂Yes it has. SS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MM. Big Time!

I remember Obliterator's gear was once turned into a bubble dispensing device, but he came back later with new technology that couldn't be manipulated by Silver Surfer, so there are limitations. He usually manipulates inanimated objects, but then again there was that planet he manipulated that when he lost control of his powers the population and environment went through hyper aging and among other things. Hard to say what's the limitations.
