lance paused *damn it* "grr i hate it when others are correct...." he took a knife and cut him self and poured his blood into a cup and his wound was covered in ice

James smiled "Im an expert on things like that" he said. he sat up and pulled out his knife "Your wounds cover up with Ice. While mine covers with venom. if someone were to bite me, they would surely get sick. so im not too scared of being bitten. but you, you will kill someone with your healing method."

"hmmmm so i see"

James smirked "Now, if you will exscuse me; im taking a nap next to the heater" he smiled at Lance and turned the heater on and sat infront of it.

"hmmm she is scared to take my help but i will leave the blood here" he said and layed by the door

James opened his eyes "Masquitos" he said loudly enough for lance to hear

"what about of them..... oh yeah he closed the door

James chuckled to himself as he was warmed by the heater "Lance,why do you wish to help someone who could betray you?" he asked him, talking about the vampiress.

"i have my reasons...."

James smirked and opened his eyes "Freindship only lasts so long, Lance" he said "Nothing is eternal."

he glared"are you telepathic?"

James smiled and chuckled "Not at all, just experiance." he said standing up. he walked to lance and smiled at him "But our frendship may be eternal" he smiled cheekily and put his hand on lance's shoulder "Nothing last forever, memorize that and never suppress it."

"hmmmm i'll keep it in mind but i dothis for other reasons"

James smirked "and what reason is that?" he asked "Past? Present? Doing something kind while hoping for something in return doesnt work either, there is always a catch. Like when you cut yourself, you lost blood, and a cup of blood at that." he got close to lance's face and flickered his tongue "No fear, no pain, nor sorrow, your emotionless, why care for a vampire?"

looked at him annoyed "i do it for someone i knew i promised him something alright and emotionless? how cause i fear nothing and feel no physical pain?"

"No, not physicle, emotional. I can taste happiness, sadness, fear, and pain. I sense none of that in you" James flickered his toung again "Your nothing but a blank card" james pulled his head back "Just like me"

he looked at the ceiling "happiness is pointless sadness is for the weak there is truley nothing to fear and pain is in your mind" he said calmly

James smirked "Wrong" he said "Happiness is an emotion that everyone must feel if you wish to move on in life. and if you think sadness is pointless, wait until you lose something close to you" James smirked and looked at the vampiress "Like her, i know you care for her in a way" he opened his mouth just enough to show his fangs dripping venom

he froze the venom "no i just keep my word..... happiness only gives you a breif relief of reality then its over and your miserable again and as for close ones i don't have any never have never will"

James spit out the iced venom and smirked. he flicked his tound again "Thats it, i taste it... fear" he said smirking "He got close to Lance's face again "Your scared to care and lose" he smirked "Thats nothing to fear, it happens. protect what yo care for and it will be there forever" his eyes softened into Lance's eyes "What did you lose?"
