Hall Pass - The Freshman Party

Okay guys, this is the thread where we'll be playing the first storyline I've got. It's going to be an introduction to the game, for you guys and me, so bear with me.

The game starts outside the Principal's office. All of you missed the first day of school yesterday, so you've come to get you timetables. You've been moved in to sit on a row of chairs in a thin corridor that leads to the principal's office from the admin area.

Currently it's just the six of you - Allor, Brad, Vlad, Zak, Joe and Tyler. By coincidence, you all get the same bus to school. Whilst those of you from the area may have been in the same school as the one or two of the others, you don't know each other. The skaters may have seen each other at the park a couple of times, but you had different friendship groups back then. Brad and Joe met once at a birthday party, but you guys didn't really have a chace to talk.

The secretary comes back and tells you her name, Miss Wainwright, and that as the principal is taking an important phone call,
"Maybe you should get to know one another."
Straight away you all realise she's one of those people who has no idea about friendship groups, who thinks children all get along together. Well, you've got nothing better to do.

Just for the minute, socialise. Get to know one another's characters - but remember, I control the NPCs! I'll be posting up the next bit in a while - no later than tomorrow.

Zak was sitting next to a pretty hot girl. He decided to speak up and stop the silence.

"Hey, what's your name?" he asked her.

"My name's Allor....you?" she answered.

"Zak..."

Tyler sat on the far end chair looking down the rows he saw some more skaters.

~Looks like ive got some competition....~He thought. He wriggled in his chair until he got comfy and sat there quietly waiting for the principle.

"Hey guys, The name's Brad nice to meet you all"

Tyler looked down the row."Sup...The names Tyler."

Vlad raises an eyebrow. "Wassup!? The name's Vlad"

"Sup Vlad...Im Tyler...As you may know but oh well..."

Vlad looked over at his backpack, which held two rollerblades dangling down from him. He sighed. He rather be blading outside then sitting here.

Joe looked around the room, realizing he may be stuck in school with a bunch of idiots. Oh well. Better to make friends than enemies. He stood up and introduced himself as simply Joe. He'd always liked his first name. Short, consise, and powerful, like himself.

"Man...I wish i was blading...This is just to boring...."

"Yeah, Bladers are okay in my book" Zak said. Most Skaters he knew didnt like them but he was fine with it. "Man, I don't want to start school....I wish it were summer forever... Almost everyday this summer i was at the new skatepark....it was so rad"

"Hey Joe, I recognise you, have we met before?"

"Oh yeah.. I remember, we met at that disaster of a birthday party, hows it going?

Just introduce yourself to the others. Guys, remember, people control their own characters. If it becomes really nesscessary, I'll do it. Anyway, on with the story.

(Restarting with Al.)

Allor sat slumped in her chair. She arched an eyebrow at Zak before rolling her eyes. She sat up and pulling a pen from her pocket began writing on her shoes.

The arrival of another student interrupts you conversationa. He's a little weedy kid who visibly pales as you all turn to look at him. Miss Wainwright gives you an inane smile,
"This is Steven. He only arrived in town this morning but he didn't want to miss school," at this Steven winces, but Miss Wainwright continues, unnoticing, "So he needs to get his timetable like you."

Three others come in pretty soon - a Goth called Karl and two fashion-conscious Preps, Rachel and Amber. Ten minutes or so later a kid dressed in really baggy jeans and longish hair kept under a baseball cap saunters in. He introduces himself as Alex with a smile.

Now's the time to pick allegiances and create some bonds. Talk to the NPCs (non-player characters) and I'll control them. All of you have heard it's a good idea to get to a start of school party and by now you know getting to one is a big deal in this area. However, you don't know who's holding it or how to get invited! So it's probably a good idea to find out at one point or another (not nesscessarily now).

Like I say, this is the game intro. I'll teach you the rules and get to learn your characters. Sorry for any hiccups - it is the first time I've GMed a game!

Vlad couldn't help laughing a little as he saw a student writing something on her shoe. He shook his head before coming up to Karl. Vlad had good reputation with Goth, he should atleast see it. "So, I heard there's a party going on..." said Vlad.

Would you really just say that to somebody? I'm trying to make it kinda realistic - you don't know the guy.

Karl looks at you a moment, suprised by the statement,
"Yeah, I guess. Chandler'll be having a party, as always."
