"Well, if you don't mind me asking, why was that?"

"Well... it was a very difficult decision... we had to make a tight judgment call. And by the time it was clear that we would probably have to turn them on... it was too late, really."

He's very nervous.

Can I scan him? Or will it just tell me he's nervous?

That was based on a Scan.

Andro took in the game arena, and the equipment. He was really going to enjoy this, he could tell. Although truthfully, he would rather have to hit the ball rather than simply use a repulsor to shoot it.
"It seems pretty simple to me. Shall we get to it then?"

Music- The Flag Parade

Well then! You guys are assembling into your teams on the field. Twain and Varm and their three droids square off against you two and your three. You guys are in red, they are in blue (and no, that doesn't mean you are Sith).

Before we kick off... or repulse off, anyway... do you guys want to talk over any tactics? Your playing skill is either your Combat skill or Lightsabre -2 (whatever is higher). A shame neither of you is a Type D because they get their acrobatic bonus on just about every roll in the game.

Well! that makes my playing skill 14. I might suggest that Gallagher blocks the goal, while the droids and I take care of the rest? It just seems Andro is more suited to the full contact nature of the game. Other than that, I'm not sure about tactics, I've never played any hockey myself.

Red Vs blue is it....

(Its not pink, its lightish red....)

Hockey kicks off when I am back from work tomorrow.

Any plans on Cassilis?

I'm coming up with stuff to say...

Slight delay on the Hockey rules here- will get it all 100% tonight.

Ok!

First of all, it is useful to remember that the pitch is split into three thirds. Not just because the scoring works from which third you shoot from, but also because I track your location by which third you are in- at any one time, each player is in one of those thirds. Your position within that third is irrelevant- basically, anyone inside the same third can interact with each other.

Each turn, you may declare one of the following actions:

1. Move- enter an adjoining third

2. Block- attempt to 'vigorously' interpose yourself onto someone else. This can spoilt their shot, stop them moving, or even knock them over

3. Sidestep. Stay put and get out the way of anyone trying to Block you.

4. Shoot/Pass- obviously, only if you have the ball, you can try for a shot at goal or to try and pass to another player. The shots are harder than passes, because passes are co-operative, using the attractor on the stick. The longer the distance, and the more unblocked opponents in your third, the harder the shot or pass is.

5. Tackle. it is damn hard but you can actually try and snitch the ball off someone who has it

6. Gather- if the ball is loose in your third, you can go try and suck it up!

You always act in Initiative order, but some moves take priority over others- for example, you must 'survive' all blocks and tackles before your Move or Pass/Shoot instruction takes place. The game rules are not 100% precise and I will normally make judgment calls as I go along

The robots act on their own initaitve but they will listen to any ideas or tactics you yell at them to do.

Questions?

(Nope, I'm ready. Let's play!)

We are pretty stuck are we not? Anyways...am I in this conversation I kind of lost track of it to be honest.

If I am:

"Do you have an idea how we could reopen negotiations....they are very important to our further actions?"

"Absolutely none; the Rebels are resolute. If they could have continued I would have done so."

Dammit
----------------------

"How did you contact them before? Is there a way that we could try to contact them?"

"Well, yes, we do have a channel of communication available..."

"So they would hear us? And it is up to them to respond?"

"It's a direct line from me; they won't listen to any strangers."

"Mr. Skorzeny you seem to have a great value of life, what will happen if we cannot start new negotiations will be the loss of the lifes of most of the rebels and even more great damage to the sanctuary....we will need you to try to establish negotiations between us and the rebels....if there is any possibility we need you to use it....."
