(I type slow. I missed your last post Gallagher. No, I took the basic martial arts tree, that's why I wondered is a melee weapon was useless to me. No matter, I just didn't want to short myself of a useful piece of equipment if I was. As I said, my fists and wits will do. Well, my fists, anyway.
I'm leaving for work soon, but otherwise I'm ready to start when you and Ush are. Do I need to prepare in anyway before we leave? Like declare any equipment I want. Oh, would my contact with Master Tinn be of any benefit, in so far as advice or tips before we go? Also, is Zeland comming too, or will Ush just have him gove me some pointers? Sorry about all the question, first regular mission and all, trying to think of everything at once I guess.)
You aren't the vibroblade type, Andro, and you would look very odd carrying one.
As originally asked for, the Jedi wanted someone who was good at fighting without a Lightsabre to protect Gallagher... just in case.
But Combat Tricks are entirely mundane.
No need to get too detailed about equipment in this game, but any prep you want to make is fine. I likely won't kick things off in actual plot events until tomorrow.

This means a trip to the Senate, Roan! That's big business; any prep you want to make?
Ok, Duguide has been Senator for 8 years, we was appointed by (and is a member of) the Z'har. He is male, middle-aged and his political record shows a distaste for the growing power of the Trade Federation and other such concerns- he voted to censure them over the Naboo invasion and he backed the law after the Jedi investigations of two years ago to restrict the arms race of the Techno Union. He's pretty quiet, though; he doesn't make waves in the Senate.

Ok, Jelena, you are going to check out the records you can find.
Now the Archives are not a political library. However, one thing you do get a vibe of very quickly is how very old both Cassilis and the Z'har are. In fact, in the entire Archives, there is no other organisation that is as old as the Jedi itself- except the Z'har. They are there right from the start. Even the current Senate is only 1000 years old.
Cassilis itself doesn't feature much in the Archives- many of the relevant records are probably in the Sanctuary, of course, it being the trump card of all libraries. The Sanctuary is, in fact, older than the Temple; it has never moved, whilst many, many millenia ago, the Jedi were not always on Coruscant.
In a combination of that, and relevant stellarnet records... you can't find any evidence of political trouble on Cassilis... ever.
Predictive results are in! I am surprised how many only have Dreams.
Marcus- congrats in being strong with the Living today. Instincts bags you two re-rolls for this Episode. Don't forget them! People keep doing that
Gallagher- your spent point is refunded. You got +4 on this roll anyway, which was a strong pass. Unfortunately you cannot get a Major Revelation with Dreams.
Good rolling today- Roan gets a pass.
And so does Jelena! At least one Foresight result today...
That's all for this story folks. Better luck next time to the others.
ROAN
This is the result of your successful Dreams. Comments follow before your vision.
Feel free to discuss visions with me, but I will not explain their meaning.
‘Dreams’ is a Cosmic Force predictive power, which means it gives clues about the upcoming Episode plotline. However, it is a basic power, and imprecise. Its visions, which are effectively received by chance (in your sleep some days before the plotline proper starts), are obscure and not exactly related to reality- just like a Dream. Dreams are of the same power regardless of your force rating, so make a good choice for lower force characters, who will not be wasting anything. Also, because they are vague and unfocussed, Dreams may well give clues about events beyond the current story, though rarely actual Guidance.

Deep beneath the ground, the man is dead. He is just a skeleton.
Around him lie endless wooden shelves, with papyrus scrolls upon them
The dead man holds one in his hand. It reads:
THIS IS FORBIDDEN
In the skeleton’s hand is a match. It lies against one of the scrolls of the shelves. Suddenly, the light catches, and with amazing speed, all the shelves catch fire. You are caught in an inferno, and you run…
You pelt down the corridors, and as you run, another scroll falls to the ground in front of you. You pick it up and it reads:
YOU WILL NEVER KNOW
You blink. And now it reads
LOOK BEHIND YOU
You turn, and everything goes black

There is a great celebration!
All around people cheer. A procession winds its way through the streets, and jubilant people scream out their admiration.
There! There you are, Gallagher! With the others!
The man being cheered is atop a hover car, moving slowly through the streets. He is worn before his years. He looks pale and unwell. He waves back at the crowd, not with the practiced grace of a politician, but with the natural movement of the grateful and humble.
So many… so many depend on this man, Gallagher. There are not enough like him left. He represents hope. Finally, something has gone right. As he passes you, he sees you in the crowd, and smiles. He is glad you are here. You can protect him.
But wait. Something is wrong. Suddenly, he keels to one side, giving out a sharp cry of agonized pain. All the people… the countless hordes of people, stop cheering and fall silent, looking horrified.
He calls out in pain again. Gallagher… they are going to kill him! They will not let him live! So few men like this, and they will not allow him to thrive either…
And the people. The people all around. They are turning pale, and drawn. The flesh is stripping from their bones. You feel death. SO much death. They are all going to die, because they killed this man. More people than you can imagine. Why can’t you stop it, Gallagher? What is wrong?
You run through the dead crowd towards him, but it is too late. He straightens up suddenly, and his flesh catches fire, and he lets out a long, long scream…
