USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (RENEGADES)- The Hunters Hunted

Since Vera's coming in, I'm just going to wait for Mind Tricks rather than more Intimidation...

Can Xeth Scan or Sense or whatever it is that checks to see if the Foreman is Mind Trickable?

Access point? Like the ones R2 uses in the films!

Nothing literally tells you that unless you try it.

Well, Xeth wants to hunt down an access point for R3 so we can get the layout and not have someone guide us to where we want to go.

As for the Foreman, whenever Vera decides to get her rear in gear, we just need to find out which bay, if I can find an access point.

The entrance that Xeth had just passed through slid open again as a short green figure walked in slowly, leaning on a gnarled brown cane. The creature grinned the grin of an elderly person, and its red-brown hair trailed out behind it, tied back in a single braid. At its belt was a small cylinder, a lightsaber, small enough for the creature to hold in its hands.

This was Master Vera-Kin.

Vera-Kin hobbles along, using her powerful senses to pinpoint her fellow Jedi in the crowd, whacking the occasional person with her cane if they tread too close to her.

As she approaches Xeth, she spots R3-U9, the Geonosian's astromech. To make her arrival clear to everyone, she raises her cane and whams it against R3's chassis, making a loud resounding thud.

"Hello, Xeth," she greets. "Good to see you, it is. You as well, Kiu, and Densk."

Xeth grins and looks down to the little Jedi Master.

"Mentor of my mentor!" he exclaims, "Welcome, Master. We've been expecting you. A bit late, I must say..."

"Don't chastise me," Vera-Kin chuckles. "Issues with the Wookiees and Trandoshan slavers, there were. I had to lay down the law..."

She looks about.

"Now, what are we up to?"

"We're trying to find the cargo loading bay that the Orion Phoenix was loaded in," Xeth says, "and from there we also want to find the security tapes monitoring the loading. The cargo manifest was forged, or so I suspect. The weight and volume of tractor parts does not add up."

Vera-Kin nods and leans forwards on her cane.

"Almost to Chareus, Master Marcus and his companions are, so I would like to act quickly. What is the plan?"

Xeth grins.

"I was going to guide R3 to an access point and get a layout of the building so that we don't have to have the Foreman here guide us around," Xeth says. "Still, that won't tell us where the Phoenix was loaded...so, if you could have your way with him..."

Vera-Kin chuckles slightly again, repositioning her cane.

"Yes, yes, I will talk to him," Vera-Kin says, hobbling past Xeth to where the Foreman is standing. "Find the access point, you will, hmm?" she says back to him before confronting the Foreman.

"Hello there," she says to the Foreman, tapping his leg with her cane.

"Yeah, I'll get on it..." Xeth says, turning back to R3.

"Let's get you to an access point, eh R3? Come on..."

Xeth (and maybe Kiu) will be on the look-out for an access point with an Observation roll or two.

I think Densk has a high one too Xeth.

Hence the (and maybe Kiu) of my post. 😉

Sheesh, where are your manners, say hello to the new Renegade Granny of the Force! 😛

Hence why I said I think Densk has a high one too. Your going Senile Xeth.

Kiu bows, and aknowledges their party's new addition.

Just because you think I'm insane... 😛

Densk has no Observation. He has a 14 in unarmed combat though. 😗

holy shit. I have like a 5.

i think i got like a 2 in observation.

Being realistic here is it legal for a Jedi Renegade to knock out a guy and interrogate him???

Doubt that will be needed a terminal or mind trick should do just fine but more out of curiosity or future reference.

"Can I help you... err... Miss?" tries the Foreman.

Xeth- no access points outside, for sure.

On Charaeus, your ships is landing. It looks like it is swallowed by the vast and tangled jungle that covers the planet's surface. This is no friendly Endor-style jungle- it is dense monsoon jungle, thick and hostile. The ship barely has room to land, and the surface of the jungle itself has the feel of perpetual twilight, as the light from above is drowned out by the tree canopy.

The troops, dressed in commando gear, start to file out, nervously.

"Hey. We got our own troops" said Vlad chuckling a bit, before turning too his two companion jedi nodding toward the exit of the ship. Vlad walked outside and observed the jungle.

Bloody horrible, and not much in the way of tracks. It's going to be a long job getting through this tangled undergrowth.
