Before we move on with the Osokan fight, reading your moves, I am guessing that you forgot that moving out of a fight without Defensive Leap means your foes all get free attacks on you; Jump is included.

I don't want to wait around for Rogan to kill me, and I do not have the Force for a Dodge or a Defensive Leap.

At any rate, Rand will risk the free attack to leap up onto a branch.

No, because if you are defending yourself you are not moving.

I think we should play out this round, as much as I hate to say it. That, or risk the incoming attacks. Rand can risk it more easily than Dak, though, and Galder is facing Rogan, who would smash him down with Fortune points.

I'm dangerously close to being the next to fall, though...

If Rand and Galder were to engage the Osokans, would that prevent them from attacking me while I got to a safer spot?

See, here's what I'm thinking, and Zink said he would consider it as well. If Galder can evade Rogan's next attack, and Rand can survive the free flogging given to him by the Osokans if he makes a bid for 'freedom' in order to strangle Rogan with Grip, then Galder can make a break for it, and maybe help Dak get clear. And then, we can head for the transport.

It would sound a whole lot better were it not for the two gigantic "ifs" there...

And there is also the 'if Dak survives the next attack' thrown in there.

Oh yeah... how the heck did I miss that one?!
