The rest of the time the pack walked in silence, still searching for a place to stay for the night. Toboe was still in bad shape, but finally, the pup began to regain consciousness. He opened his eyes slightly and noticed Kiba above him. <>Uh...huh? K-kiba? Is that you?....<>
The white wolf looked down at the brown wolf that lay in his arms, and gave a concerned look. <>Yes, Toboe. It's me. And Ravin and Kitai. Just stay still. It'll be all right.<>
He closed his eyes once more and set his head back down, his ears pinned back. Toboe's tail wagged a little, then the pup spoke once more. <>B-but....where's Tsume and Hige?<>
Kiba froze in his steps and paused a moment before speaking. <>Hige went to look for him. He....he's gone.....<> All was silent, until footsteps in the near distance were heard.
Kitai whispered under her breath. <>I-is that him?....<>
From behind the pack, came a familiar sarcastic voice. <>Hn. So you do care about the runt, huh?<> It was Hige. He had returned.
Then came Kiba's response. <>Yeah. He's fine. But we have to find somewhere to rest for the night.<> He paused. <>By the way, where did you go?<>
Kitai jumped into the conversation. <>Probably was too ashamed to show his face after attacking Toboe.<> Then she mumbled. <>Even though it was meant for Ravin.....<>
Kiba shot a glare at her and turned back towards Tsume. <>Well. Now that we're all here, I think it would be best to get going, don't you?<>

Ravin just watched silently.Her eyes not really seeing anything,because she was thinking back to a time.A time when nothing in the world really was hatefull.She remembered though,that terrible night when her mother lay before her,dead.A few tear drops glittered away from her eyes as she said quietly"Mother" even though she was standing next to Kiba,she didnt feel warm.She felt cold."Mom....why did you have to go?" she whispered.Then,without much thought,she turned and started running.Running from all the memories.She was miles away before she wearily she curled up.She all of a sudden couldnt move and was trapped in paralizing snow.It was softly falling but was chilling.A silver tear dropped."Im sorry Kiba...........for running" she whispered.The reason she had run away was because in this very spot,her loving mother's body once layed....
