Me either. Nobody can trust the police..especially after all that shit on the news that they've done...Plus what they did to my uncle.

If there's a lot of money, I would try to contact that person. If it's just a couple of dollars I would probably keep it. It also depends what else is in his/her wallet. If there's a lot of important things in the wallet, I would return it.

Long long long story. They scraped his face up when he wasnt even struggling, and added things that he didnt do onto the paper where it says what all he did.

He's alright. It happened a few months ago actually.

The money is mine, the wallet gos to the police department.

And most likely I'd put the money to good use. Like helping pay the bills in my household, or getting a girl I like a gift.

I'd just take the cash and try and return the rest.

I'd try to contact the person it belongs to so I could return it.

Take the money out, rub the fingerprints off and leave it exactly where it was, perhaps.

give it back. (but ten thou is my honesty quotient)
