It was an important movie to me as well, but after having seen "Batman Begins", "Star Wars" flaws become all the more apparent.

I'm a "real" Star Wars fan and I still firmly believe that "Batman Begins" was a better film overall, and I would go as far to claim that I am a bigger fan of Star Wars, and my reasoning is supported.

The story in batman is truly stupid and weak.
In Rots the story is more sad and more dramatic. anyone who is a real fan recognise that batman story is weak compare to Rots.

Empire Strikes Back is superior to Batman. Revenge of the Sith is not. Is Batman a better film than Episode III? Yes. Do I like Batman more than I like Episode III? No.

I am a Star Wars fan, indeed. I have been since 1982, when I was 4 years old and saw ROTJ in theatres, and got the Millenium Falcon for Christmas.

People can say whatever they feel, regardless if they're Star Wars fans or not if they felt there was a better movie.

I havnt seen batman begins but I have seen starwars ep111 and that was cool.

What are you talking about? He witness the murder of his parents right before his eyes. A criminal murder them cold blooded. Of course he is going to cry and feel tremendous pain to see his mom and dad dying. Padme death was also tragic but there wasn't enough tension brewing. I'm Batman fan and I have my own complains about Episode III. But you don't see me bashing the film like you are with Batman.

Believe it or not, he's 17, and became a fan of "Star Wars" AFTER EPISODE ONE!

Not that when you see the films is any measure of your fandom, it's just ironic he's sitting here barking to Wind Dancer and myself, 29 and 26 years old respectively, having GROWN UP ON THE O.T., about how we're not "real" Star Wars fans.
