Police Brutality

Served her right. Should listen to cops when they tell her to get out of the car now. "Now" means now, not when she's done with the phone call.

the bottom line is that she was warned a few times so its her fault the cops didnt beat the shit outta her and they didnt kill her they didnt physically harm her in any way. Granted a tazer hurts like hell but thats what its supposed to do. I don't think the cop did anything wrong.

What about shocking her the second time when she was already on the ground?

Eh, that part seemed a bit extreme, though, she shoulda listened.

its not like it did it for an extended period of time tho. So I don't think it was extreme. It all boils down to....people need to respect authority figures....well atleast cops. Why should they treat you with respect if they won't get the same back.

Well a lack of respect isn't really a valid reason to shock somebody.. although sometimes people may deserve it, cops are only supposed to use such measures when necessary.

Their reason for shocking her the second time was that she wasn't putting her hands behind her back. Just doesn't seem like a valid reason to shock someone..

True but being shocked doesn't hurt your ability to move unless you are knocked out, which by the screaming means she wasn't. It may have been a little overboard but not so much as to be called police brutality

I don't get what you're saying. What does her ability to move have to do with anything?

Ironic that you havent been beaten or tasered yet...

But I am sure you have been pleanty of times. 🙄

IMO it's pretty shitty that cops can taser people for something like that. There's no reason to resort to shocking somebody unless they're physically attacking you. The one about the pregnant woman is even worse, they could have killed the baby.

Nope

It seems a little excessive, however, if you dont listen to the police. what follows after is your fault. Most times atleast.

So that's why you started a police riot in CVH. To act it out 😛

thats why they tazed her the 2nd time.

the woman wouldn't get out of the car and was ignoring the request of the officer, she then apparently took a swing at the officer who was leaning in the passenger window at which point she got hit with the tazer.
She then wigged completely out (and probably was hoping to make a huge scene but that's just speculation) and ended off saying F'ing this and f'ing that.

Did the cop go overboard? Should he have wrestled her out of the car? Should he have stayed there all afternoon trying to coax her out of the car? How many cops have been shot at the roadside in the United States this year?

She was driving with a suspended license, which showed a lack of judgement. She was antagonistic to the cop which showed further lack of proper judgement skills, and she continued that behaviour, which shows that she would probably not choose to take the easy way out of the whole situation.

I don't fault the cop, maybe it was overboard, but you reduce an officer's options, it usually doesn't work out well for you in the end.

the LAPD is pretty bad too

NYPD is much better either.......

My unky was a part of police brutality. They knocked him down and had him on his back, with their knee in his head. He wasnt even doing anything. They scratched his face all up and made him bleed. The police are REALLY bad over here.

me and my boys were down south (tennesse) and it was night and we was jus walkin chillin and then the cops show up and start harrassin us so we say F*** it and walk away they follow us and take out they sticks and start hittin us NOT FAIR

Should have ran or jumped a gate?

Or shut your mouth and not walk away from the police. How exactly were they "harrassin'" you? What time were you out "chillin'"? And where abouts were you walking?

Sorry if I'm just a bit sceptical about this story.
