Jazz Jackrabbit versus Sonic the Hedgehog

Jazz Jackrabbit was a rippoff of Sonic the Hedgehog done specifically for the pc. The green rabbit however is armed with a gun and dynamite. Do you think he has the edge on the hedgehog this way or does sonic's less fragile physique carry him through?
