The fantastic four were hit by the same patch of radiation. . .There could probably be a range as to what it could produce but nothing as wild as everything from Magnetic control to telepathy to super strength . . etc. . .
If you mean comics are inconsistant with reality you're 100% correct. But inconsistency within the comics themselves isn't as rampant as you imply.

When was the last time you saw Wolverine take minutes to heal from a bullet? His healing factor is a lot faster then it was when he first came around. No way to know what can kill him unless he dies... and um, stays dead. So far he has died a bunch can came back to life because of his healing factor; no way to know what can kill him
this is true, Wolverines healing factor is really powerful and has done some amazing feats. He's grown back all the flesh on his arm in several minutes. He's survived all the adamantium in his body being ripped out by Magneto- every single bone being wrenched and the body being almost destroyed by the process of taking it out.
However, he DOES have limits. He stated himself that it depends on his immune system and that it can max out. He needs rest to keep it up to full and too much strain on it will cause it to fail.
However, he still takes gambit, I say. 💃

Hulk ALWAYS had potentially limitless strength.
Wolverine DID NOT always take the punishment he does now.
Marvel kept writing him more and more powerful the more
popular he became, and the more fanboys mailed marvel about it.
This is not a hard concept to grasp.
big deal, same thing happened to superman.

Cry me a river, the same things you're saying is happening to Wolverine is happening to other characters as well.Iceman has gotten insanely powerful, as has Magneto.
And even dear old Spiderman. In fact his strength upgrade is more than Wolverine's was.
5 tons > 300 pounds.
You want consistency? Go buy a math book.
Consistency has never existed in comics.
Proportionate wise this is not so in regards to the strength upgrade, though comics need to make money..............

No?
they also fought in ultimate, gambit broke his staff by attempting to smash it on wolverines head, wolverine pins gambit, gambit threatens to blow up wolveribne by charging up his claws, wolverine backs off, gambit shoves his broken staff in wolvies mouth, blowing half his face off. later on they fight again, wolvie pins gambit again, gambit kicks wolvie in his leg, bending wolvies knee at an odd angle, it hurts wolvie but he laughs it off, snaps it back into place, then rogue breaks fight up, yea that was a good issue.. but yea, if wolvie went into bersekrer rage gambit is toast, and im a gambit fan
