Technically, yes ✅

Thats screwy.

If armor/forcefields can block TK/TP, doesn't that imply that Marvel's psionics is physics-based (eg, electromagnetic)?

Doubt it, telepathy is millions of times faster then light and all.

Here's a question;

Why in the HELL can Doc Strange teleport through time and space at will, and even through other dimensions, but can't seem to magic the New Avengers out of the country?

Couple of reasons. One cause intra-dimensional travel has always been difficult for him. Back in Defenders its played on a few times. Its much easier from him to travel through dimensions that it is for him to travel linearly. So its easier from him to move throughout dimensions than it is to move across the Earth.

Another is that the brass at Marvel has decided that Dr Strange is too much of a deux ex machina and are moving to place some limits on him. There is a interview with Quesada which explains his views on Strange:

...you can place Dr. Strange in peril but it never really seems like much because at any moment he can cast a spell of crimson bands or what have you and he's out. There are no rules to his universe and from a storytelling perspective that's problematic. When you look at imaginary situations, worlds like the world of Toy Story or even Roger Rabbit have rules of their universe clearly defined. Heck in Roger Rabbit it's very clear how to kill a 'toon, so the viewer gets the feeling that the characters can be placed in peril and have their backs placed against the wall. This is exactly what I'm looking for in regards to our magic characters. Rules that govern them. How do you kill Doctor Strange? How do you hurt him?

So basically for while now writers have been "depowering" him. Bendis sort of started I think in Daredevil, BKV followed in Oath and Bendis is continuing in NA.

Ugh, great. If you think you have deus ex machina, the best thing of course is to use him in team where every single other person is street level! Bendis, you devious mastermind!

Sometimes, I really don't like the decisions Marvel does...

😆 good point, New Avengers probably wasn't the ideal place to put him. Although I suppose they want him to be in a place that sales (That's why Iron-Fist is on the team, so Immortal Iron-Fist does even better than it does now) ✅

I think that was part of the point. Move him in a place to show he isn't a deux ex machina. Wouldn't we expect for DS to be able to solve everything for the NA if that were the case. I can't explain how I glad I was to hear DS say he couldn't do something.

A few questions on IW.....

1. Can she breathe through her forcefield ?
2.Can she make constructs ? Guns, swords ect ?
3. Whats the smallest forcefield she can make ? Whats the largest ?
4. How many forcefields can she make ?

....No idea on any of them except for number 2.

I know she can make simple constructs - staffs, plates, things of that sort. She's no green lantern, though.

She also would be unable to construct a gun due to it's complex moving parts and the required chemical reactions, and etc. She could fire an invisible 'bullet' at high velocities, sure. But she couldn't actually MAKE the gun.

Would it be feasible though for her to create a 'crude' gun. Similar to the Ones the Darkness uses ?

Gl's are insane. I remember Kyle making a friggin blaster (he had NO fugging idea what actually made it work) and blew away a boulder the size of a Trailer...

Im not sure exactly what you mean.

She could make a construct that looked something like a gun, mayhaps, and could create bullet constructs in front of it, that fired at high velocities, but it wouldn't be as if the gun actually FIRED them. She'd still be creating the bullets and directing them.

It'd be pretty pointless, as she might as well just send invisible shards through the person's body.

Also, it's not as if anyone could see the gun anyways....

She could always be really cool like the "One who has lost all hope."

"Shoot." "Punch." "Shoot."

She ever made a sword ?

I don't know if she has. She's made a bo staff before, though.

And she's made sharp forcefields, so it'd be within her power to make a sword.

Does anyone know how far away Krypton is from DC Earth?

20.5 lightyears.

20.5 lightyears.

Thanks. 😄

Do you by chance have any scans where this is mentioned or the name of the comic?

Oops. 😕

Actually...AFAIK, the distance has never really been mentioned, though I believe Krypton has been said to be in another galaxy (which would make it at least 2.3 million lightyears away).

I picked 20.5 lightyears because real scientists have just discovered a large, Earthlike world orbiting a red star that distance from here. So it seemed like a nice number to go with.
