Why say "magnetic channels" then?

But, forget the whole thing.

so.... who won the fight?

i'd imagine Namor would win because Thor is under some kind of spell.... and you can't have the hero get squashed halfway through the story

If anyone wants info on a character wikipedia has a ridiculous amount of info on both DC and Marvel

Marvel

DC

They have descriptions of teams/organizations and alien races as well.

They stalemated until Namor was shot by Inhuman's ship.

It was kind of as fighting against bloodlusted Thor, since Morgan had sent him to kill Namor. Granted, Thor wasn't probably at his prime under that spell, though. The fight happened at Fantastic Four comic. Part of the "Atlantis Rising" storyline.

What is the point of Wonder Woman's Eagle armor? Why does it have wings if she can fly? My guess is, so she can fly better. Is that, then, a subtle acknowledgment on DC's part that wings make for an improved version of an aerial combatant? So what if Superman donned the Eagle armor? 😇

The answer in this thread has been that WW wears it as ceremonial armor. With all due respect, this did not make sense to me, because it seems she wears it when things get Really Really tough (witness OWAW), not when it's time for a regal moment. This implies that the armor does enhance her ability to fight.

Well, seems I was on the right track. I was in a bookstore recently and flipped through one of those oversized "all you ever wanted to know about so-n-so" books: Wonder Woman's, to be exact. The Eagle armor wings...
1) ...Do enhance her ability to fly, and
2) ...they serve as shields (actually, the entire armor does). Since she never used her cross-bracelets-make-forcefield trick in OWAW (and when would've been a better time?), one might think that the wings make better shields than the forcefield.

Sometimes I get the impression that DC doesn't quite know what to do with Diana.

But now I have a new question: who in DC would be considered the best ariel combatant? I would guess Hawkman, because if it isn't, then what's the point of having Hawkman (kinda like: if Superman was faster than Flash, what would be the point of having Flash)?

This is not to say Hawkman could beat Supes in the air, since Supes is just so much more powerful. Perhaps it might be better to say it this way: if Superman had wings, he'd better a better ariel combatant as compared to his "wingless" self.

Why was it in the issue where the Hulk fights the Fantastic 4 for the second time they call him Bob Banner?

because Stan Lee & pals were rubbish at remembering their characters names

What a shame.*nods head*

Has it ever been stated what pound-force-per-square-inch are Wolverines claws able to inflict?

I think its somewhere close to 200 quintillion tons. 🙂

Could be 🙂

🤘

sounds good... except i thought that it was 200 quintillion tons per square millimeter

😂

I know what Beast's is, 1800 lbs, would Wolverine's be close to that?

(you know my secret agenda for this, don't you? 😉 )

nope

Really?

It has something to do with pressure...😱

😐

because i know his secret aenda 🤨

You do?

But can someone answer my question?

How far is Avengers tower from the Fantastic Four's building?

I ask cos i was recently re-reading MK Spider-Man and Ethan (the super-duper Skrull guy) was tearing up the Avengers inside the FF building.... Aunt May and Jarvis see it on the news, then it takes them all of 5 minutes to get down from the top of the Avengers building, across town, then up to the top of the FF building (through security and everything)

so do they live next door to each other or what?

They both are in the center of the city, aren't they?

Maybe only 500 meters-1 km.
