Here is the only scan which has a number attached to a lifting feat from Cap. I'd say, judging by his feats, that around 5 tons or so sounds right.
From this pic one could argue that he is bench pressing 2,200lbs rather easily as he does some acrobatics right afterwards.

pressing 2200 lbs makes it a ton not over 5 tonsd, that would mean that he is a third of spidey wot up with that?
he may be able to prees somewhere between the lowest level of superhuman strength 800lbs to 2 tons not 5 tons he would be stronger than doom , remeber he has not been upgraded and he was under the 3rd class strength in all handguides which sates he can press 800lbs not 5 tons

The only thing I can suggest is to look at his respect thread http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f95/t390466.html as there are several strength feats which, it could be argued, put him at or above the 5 ton mark. Also keep in mind that he was only [i]working out[i] with 2,200lbs so his max may be higher.
