I was wondering if anyone knew what comic(s) that the kid stevie is seen with the cyttorak gem?

Excalibur #25 & Avengers West Coast #64

Say, could some kind fellow or lass use their expertise to create an intelligence hierarchy of Marvel Earth (only). As most of you know, in Hulk #100, Amadeus Cho is said to be the seventh smartest person on Earth, so...could someone please do a more contemporary one?

Well I don't think there is an official one (as far as I know) But here are some I would imagine to be/should be on the list........

Reed Richards/Victor Von Doom
Hank Pym
Anthony Stark
Bruce Banner
Henry "Hank" McCoy
Charles Xavier

etc etc

Master of the World
Walter Langwoski (Sasquatch I, said to be Banner's equal)

Greetiings. Will the AZ-Bat armor from Batman#500 ever be worn again by someone in the DC Universe?

Most likely, no

I remember someone asking about Cap's shield and if it was made of adamantium or vibranium or a comboe of the two.... well I just found this:

Riddle me this...

The Asgardian Destroyer was created "to fight for Earth should danger threaten!!" (that's Thor saying this in The Mighty Thor #118, and in this whole issue, there's no mention -- not the slightest hint -- of any "Celestials"😉.

How come he wasn't awakened, then, the first time Galactus came to Earth?

The Real Answer, of course, is that early in Marvel's history, everything wasn't all that well thought out.

I'm hoping for a reponse that's a little more interesting.

It could be on a technicality, like uumm..... Maybe when Thor said it he was referring to the people as opposed to the actual planet itself and Galactus doesn't intend to harm anyone it's just a byproduct of his hunger. ✅ (Will's wild guess)

Right now, that's the best alternative we have. balloon

To use the Destroyer, Thor would have needed Odin's permission .... and it would have revealed the existence of the Destroyer to the Celestials.

That plus it usually creates more trouble than it solves.

But the "Celestials" were never mentioned specifically. Plus, there are other things Thor says which implies a more generalized threat, eg, how the Destroyer was built to destroy "the first thing it sees." There were opportunities for Thor to drop names, but he didn't.

But maybe ... Thor didn't know what this "threat" was called. They were so powerful that Odin never called them by name as Thor was growing up, for fear that even saying "Celestial" would catch their attention.

And maybe Odin knew the Watcher would intervene, the FF would prevail, and so there was no need to wake up the Big D.

Ah, comics. lamo

I heard something a while ago, and I was wondering if it was true.

I heard that Darkseid mentally feeds off the sorrow and despair of beings around him, which supposedly makes him stronger.

Is there any fact to this?

Can someone tell me about the ALE (Anti Life Equation) and is it canon or another Universe? Is it still being used? Reason I ask is because I checked the dates for some of the comics regarding it and they range from 70s (?) to 97 and such. I know most of that is just that Darkseid is looking for it and hasn't found it out yet, but I read on what he did with it and I find it hard to believe that that was canon.

DS descovered that the ALE was a sentient being in "Cosmic Odyssey"

and I believe it is still being used. To a lesser degree.

So what about the idea that he created a new world (or universe, correct me on that one) and he changed everyone roles and such and made himself a burly white guy. I think thats the Mister Miracle series or something like that?

Also, how is it used to a lesser degree if it even beats his own OE? He just uses it when he needs to or what? Also this sentient being...it lets him use it's power or it has no power to stop him (being a force).

DS could not control the ALE in the slightest, had it broken from its dimension, it would have engulfed the entire DCU
