By the wake of Mr. Fantastic's activation of the Ultimate Nullifier to destroy Abraxas, Franklin lost all his powers in the process of re-forming Galactus and thus became a normal child.

Shortly afterwards, Doctor Doom made a pact with the Haazareth, to gain vast magical power. During Doom's attacks upon the Fantastic Four, Franklin was sucked into Hell, by the Haazareth. After the defeat of Doom, his parents rescued him. Franklin had a hard time coping with the traumatic experience. With help from the Thing and Franklin's mother, he made a complete mental recovery.

Because of the danger of their adventures, Child Welfare questioned the safety of the Baxter Building, due to the numerous super villain attacks on it. After much reluctance, Reed and Sue agreed that if necessary, their children could be taken away. However, an initial condition was that a "dummy" safe-house was to be set up, and a press release to be announced that the children had already been moved. The decision to actually move Franklin and Valeria was rescinded after the safehouse that they were to be placed in was reduced to a crater (along with everything within a half-mile radius). It is uncertain exactly which of the FF's enemies carried out the attack, or why (there is speculation that Reed carried out the attack himself to allow him and Sue to keep the kids), but it was enough to convince Child Welfare.

Seems not on wikipedia. After M-Day he was supposed to have retained his powers, so it is very confusing.

Thanks, but thats a bit vague, Does Franky currently have his former powers?

I find it hard to believe that when everyone else was loosing theirs, he managed to regain them ? 😕

He must of still had the mutant gene, he has shown no use of them upto now though. 🙂

Will 616 Thanos"return"? If yes when?

Yes, and no idea. I'm only guessing though. but if they don't bring him back, Annihilation is really going to suck..... as if Civil War wasn't bad enough. 👇 Hell, it's Thanos god damn it. They HAVE to bring him back. It's too stupid not to.

If you guys didn't read the quote that I posted from the author, here it is again. Was posted on a comic book forum and I got that from corvus, the biggest Thanos fan site. Heres the comic book forum:

I LOVE the way everyone calls Thanos the master manipulator, then writes him off so easily.

Is he dead? Yup. As a mackerel.

The big question now becomes...

Is he DEATH?

Stay tuned.

K-

I think there will be a BIG change in how Thanos is going to be. Not sure when we will see it but I wouldnt be surprised if its not in Annihilation. Maybe it will creep up in some comic in the future. Would be too soon IMO to show something of that magnitude.

Meh, he's an Eternal, Eternals can regenerate body parts.... he'll probably be up and running by the end of Annihilation #6

One of the disabilities of being an Eternal mutant, is his inability to manipulate matter on the same scale as the other Eternals.

Have Mangog and Thanos ever fought? I know Mangog worked along side him for awhile, but I didn't know if they had ever had a confrontation.

Anyone read Ironman Hypervelocity?

Can someone please explain to me what the hell is going on.

Obviously Tony is controlling the armor From outside with his Extremis power, but from where? Was he in Stark Tower? Cuz it seemed that whole thing was a dream.

Also why is Shield trying to kill him?

Finally, what new armor is that? Looks pretty sweet...

Hypervelocity? .... is that part of his current series or a limited/one shot?

Yea its a limited series. The first issue was pretty good. Looks like its going to have alot of action. Don't really understand the point of it yet, though it seems like they are trying to explain who Tony Stark is, as well as introduce a new armor.

Question:

Is there anything Darwin is particularly vulnerable to?

It seems as though no matter what the obsticle is, he can evolve to overcome it.

As of yet....nothing. There havn't been any indication Darwin has any sort of limits. I would assume magic would be a weakness, but he hasn't dealt with it yet.

Thx for the info. 🙂

Is Silver Surfer vulnerable to TP? there's an ongoing debate and it's part of the tournament I'm in. I'm using Violator and Apocalypse in a combined telepathic assault on Surfer. Does it work?

Telepathy has worked on him in the past but he does have a high resistance to it.Xavier class or above should work though.

Doesn't Hypervelocity take place before Iron Man got the Extremis upgrade? I'm sure i read that somewhere...

Thanks martian. I found scans of Violator using his TP to start a city-wide riot. I know Apoc is over Xavier's level, and this evidence of Violator's power should help me out. Can you vote in the tournament in comic vs.?
