i have a question.Just how fast can genis fly (cuz i think he could definitely reach SS's speed) cuz in the CM story: Monsters and Gods Genis flew up into space in one panel while a giant was holding him up in his hand.
His speed is seven in the handbooks, which means warp-speed.
nice thread. props.
ok i got a question(btw, this is for every1):
do you think if claremont left after his first run on the x-men (X-Men vol.1 #1-3) would you consider him one of the greatest who ever did it? and include him with the likes of alan moore, neil gaiman, brian azarello and stan the man?
for me yeah that dude deserves some props, seeing as how he got such classics under his belt (phoenix saga, days of future past, mutant massacre, God loves man kills etc.). but with his recent runs i really dont know, but its also possible its because he has told every great story possible for the x-men,lol.
but if he did leave while he was on top of his game, i would def list him high on the list. next to moore and gaiman of course.
thanks.
P.S. come to think of it, i dont remember anybody leaving on top of his game... even MJ went out losing,LOL.

X-men started drifting downhill a bit after 'fatal attractions' and 'phalanax covent' (SP?) both of which I enjoyed.
But yes, Claremont was really very good to start... then he started popping viagra before writing, and we all know how 'excited' mutant powers make him.

Im not gonna say im an expert but what I have heard and read is that Hulk does get stronger the angrier he gets and he is not invunerable to telepathy but because he has so many different personalities in his head its almost impossible to attack him that way....
But you must remember that telepaths of the first order can still affect him. Remember Xavier mind controlled the Hulk to attack Cable and Storm.
I'm going by memory but, I think these were the stats on the 1 thru 7 scale:
1. Below Average(Aunt May)
2. Average to Peak Human Strength - 200LBS to 800LBS
3. Enhanced Human: 800LBS to 2 Tons
4. Superhuman: 2 Tons to 10 Tons
5. Superhuman - 10 Tons to 50 Tons
6. Superhuman - 50 Tons up to a 100 Tons
7. Incalculable - Can lift over a 100 Tons, Possibly no limit
Genis Vell - 4 to 5
Abomination - 7
Hyperion - 6 or 7 depends on what version
Ulik - 6
Desak - 7
Sentry - 7
Terrax - 6(without amping his strength with power cosmic) 7(with amping of power cosmic)
Atlas - Regular height - 5 Full Grown Height - 7

There isnt a seperate force as such its the avatars such as Jean and kid Omega who are the Phoenixes. They evolve and join with creation which makes them a phoenix. Its called the ultimate mutation, the ultimate potential so pretty much nothing short of The Heart Of The Infinite , but even thats guessing because despite Thanos guesses that it was gods power he never displayed power or influence greater than on a universal scale. Thanos managed to absorb all cosmic entities including LT but Phoenix was nowhere around and past comics show the phoenix power to be greater than all of those entities. So we'll have to wait for Thanos' next appearance to find out anymore. But yeah id say a wielder of that could defeat Phoenix if its truly gods power.
