I remember once getting into an elevator and there was a guy talking to my then girlfriend in a really friendly high-pitched voice "oh, hiiiiiii, how arrre things."
But when I got on he switched up quick to a quiet, gruff, 'manly', "Hey, whassup."
It was one of the most memorable examples of this I've experienced.

You know what im talkin about. When you're speaking to specific people you just let it all fly out.
HULLO *grumble*And when you talk to someone else you're like Hey! *Giggle giggle* in a higher pitched voice.
I do it, and im sure everyone else does it. There's just no explanation as to why its done...at least not from me.
When I do it, it's drastic! 😱
Sometimes I sound like Chris Tucker then 5 minutes later, I'm Vin Diesel... 😑
My vocal chords are krazy... 🤪

Depends on how you feel towards the person
Yea, I know the voice changes.
Once, I was home and a couple of my friends were with me.
When my phone rang and I answered it. I told the guy that had called me, that I didn't have time and that I call him back later.
I hung up and my friends looked at me somewhat confused.
Finally one friend said: "I have never hear you talking that nice and..high before...😐"
😂 Coincidence? 😖hifty: 😱
