How it should have gone:
As Palpatine finishes his speech, Jar Jar Binks stands up.
Jar Jar: Now yousa waita...
Palpatine fires a lightning bolt at him. Jar Jar spasms wildly and smoke rises from his body as he is fried alive. After a long moment, Palpatine lets Binks's charred corpse fall. Stunned silence, then the entire senate lets out a deafening cheer!
Palpatine smiles and bows his head modestly.

That would have been great.

Dude why the crap did they not show Jar-Jar Binks dying? I was highly anticipating that. And I'm sure I'm not the only one.
c'mon! Lucas put him in Episode I, got the message that he wasnt a great character, and reduced his role considerably. What more do you want!!?? it would be completley pointless killing him off and would not have any relevance to the storyline. Giving him a death scene will increase his screentime. do you really want that????????

Sidious has no more use for Jar Jar, he will enslave him or kill him. But giving Jar Jar screen time just to see him die?It wouldn't fit in the movie, it would be a useless scene and it would ruin the entire ending of the movie because some people wanted Jar Jar to die.
They could have added something in the funeral scene were Padmé goes down in a tomb Jar Jar follows and then the door just closes. I wouldn't have cared about that, but adding an entire scene just to see him die? No way in hell.
I could live with that one like "oooops, we forgot the mongoloid inside...well, what the hell, there isn't much we can do now. The door won't open"
