Count Dooku's title

Why is Dooku called Count instead of Darth? Is he not a TRUE Sith?

Because he was a count... From sever something something or something like that..

He was a count thats why he called himself count, besides after he left the Jedi Order the Jedi did not know he went dark they did know he became count of a system or a planet or whatever.

Fishy is quite right. After Dooku left the Jedi, he took up his title of Count of Serenno (his home world). To his followers, he's Count Dooku the same way Darth Sidious's followers know him as Palpatine. Dooku's Sith name is Darth Tyrannus,
