Scattered/Isolated-Whats the diff?

Okay 😠 you weather expert peoples. What's the difference between scattered and isolated. I used to know but I forgot. Isnt scattered that its a chance there could be storms in different parts of the state (I live in a state) and Isolated means there could be a cluster of storms in one area?
