hey theres a little mess up in the lemony snicket movie

(i cannot remember if it was in the book too. i don't think so.)
in the movie(and book) Aunt Joe doesn't use the stove cause shes afraid it will burst into flames(right?). well when they meat Captain sham, they were shopping for putisesca(no idea how to spell that) ingredients.(heres the mess up) earlier in the movie (when they were with count olaf)they had to use the stove and things like that.
