Special Effects: Breaking Glass

Ive been searching around for information about special glass that breaks away easily and safely. I have no idea what its called or how to make/buy it.

we'll be using this for a car crash scene where we need body parts breaking glass.

Yes it can. You just need a candy thermometer to get it right.

I made it once ages ago.

hmm interesting. only problem is refridgerating a piece of glass the size of a car window....

like a windshiled ? has it got some sort of curveture to it ?

If you have any buddies that work in a grocery store see if you can sneak it in their freezer or something..
