What color was Luke's lightsaber in A New Hope?

It was Blue the entire movie except for 2 sec, then it was green.

And even that's from a certain point of view.

Luke's saber was white, blue, cyan and turquoise green.

All in one movie.

i disagree I think it was more of a mauve, sometimes maybe a cool yellow, ahhh the colors mannn the colors

They really didn't bother watching those films before releasing...

This error is corrected in one of the menus on the bonus disc to the OT DVDs.

I think they used another shot which is where his saber looks perfectly fine for that DVD menu.

There's two shots of Luke on the Falcon I think. One looks fine (the DVD menu one) and the other is the crappy green-saber shot.

I could be wrong though.
