Is Ebay Safe

I have set up an ebay account but am hesitating over giving away my bank account details. Is it safe to hand them over to ebay, and could it get into the wrong hands along with my credit card details?

Some guy got ripped off...$120 US lost I think.

no my dad bought something and he got a different item in the mail.

Seller's have a feedback rating for a reason, you know.

well just use paypal, thats pretty safe,infact I think its the safest way there is when dealing on the internet, I've bought 20 items of ebay, and i've always gotten the item that i was expecting, so i got nothing to complain about

erm.... paying after receiving the item, through the post office 😑
