And for the record...

DY says: EU does not suck... but it has no influence on the movies...

However, the reverse is not the same... the movies are where EU springs from. So you can discuss the movies in EU, but it really has no bearing at all in the reverse case. George Lucas does things his way and will go against EU if he so desires. 😉
