I don't know why people like to watch widescreen. You miss so much of it 😖

I think many people buy fullscreen simply because they're ignorant of the difference between the formats. See, they don't think they're losing any of the picture; rather, with fullscreen, they think they're getting the FULL picture without those pesky black bars.

And there are others who just enjoy looking at crappy, zoomed-in versions of the movie. Because they don't like black bars.

Let's face it - if everyone these days had widescreen TVs, fullscreen wouldn't even be a thought - the widescreen movies would fill the screen!

try comparing the Ep.2 full screen and widescreen, then you'll realize. dang im missing a lot of the movie.

oh, for the record

WIDESCREEN!

I hope you are kidding
Wide screen is the way to go you see everything
and if you want less black bars get a wide screen tv and depending on the aspect ratio they are non existant 1:1.85 or very minor 1 : 2.35

I'm pretty sure she meant fullscreen, as she's stated her hate for fullscreen throughout the thread.

Yeah, I did 😖 Fullscren I dislike, widescreen I like.

Dunno how I didn't notice THAT 😑

Widescreen is better on the right tv, but my tv looks better with fullscreen, so fullscreen it will be.

Side note, that weekend it comes out I will be taking part in a Star Wars marathon with my buds. All 6 in a row!

How small a TV is it? It's gotta be a pretty small TV to prefer FS over WS 😘

I have a 14" tv and widescreen is fine for me. If I watch a movie on it in fullscreen that is supposed to be in widescreen I get a claustrophobic feeling. 😖
