virgil is almost as strong as dante , but in the games it is known that he is weaker and can be defeated by dante, kratos is a tough guy to beat but he cant win against the power of shin akuma . Although he has duel swords that maybe are as strong as alastor he wont be able to do much danage against s akuma.

Viewtiful Joe can slow down time so that all other things move in super slow motion. It's similar to what Dante does. I see him taking Ryu.
Oro, for the sake of not getting into too much of an argument, can stalemate Shin Akuma. And Ryu hasn't reached his full potential yet, so you can't really use it here.
Absolute Zero wasn't a boss in the RPG, and isn't in any other Megaman games that I'm aware of. He's damn tough though. His big power was also something similar to a time stop. It was basically a long string of slightly depowered attacks, the number of them depending on how fast you can hit the buttons. He can also essentially attack 3 times per turn, because his secondary weapons are each as powerful as a normal attack. He kills Bison.
Virgil can hang with Dante for a bit... Too bad Bison and Ryu are getting killed by Joe and Zero, so as to create a double team effect on both Akuma and Dante.
And I still haven't gotten a real response to team comics, team books, or team FF.
you said that vj can take ryu , and that ryu isnt at his full potential ,you maybe right , but if ryu fight serious even if he isnt with his full potential he can easily destroy joe,although joe can do what you said it wont matter to ryu since i think even if joe use the slow ,high speed and the zoom at the same time he wont be as tough as ryu , maybe he becomes equal than ryu , but that is all .Ryu just have to wait joes power ends to kill him once and for all.As you said oro would stalemate shin akuma , but i think oro would lose if the fight goes for a long time.Dante would kill virgill almost at the same time that a zero would kill bison, maybe earlier .Than the upper hand comes to ryu ,dante and shin akuma vs oro and zero , as you said ,the effect 3vs 2 would make your team lose

Sparda could rivalize dantes power and make a very long fight,Oro can win against ryu , since he is training ryu and is his actual master.Gill can match s akumas power,and even if he is weaker he wont die since he is imortal.Demitri from darkstalkers should take care of m bison easily.
Just a few points M Hoshi. I still doubt Gill is Immortal, he can only use his Ressurection power once per round. That means double life, not immortality. But I do see your point of nearly matching Shin Akuma (Although Akuma in this form is geared towards quickly overwhelming opponents and avoid being hit)
