As for the movie, I can't wait to see it, it looks great. I think Tom Cruise is a very talented actor and (as someone said earlier) genuinely nice guy. This stuff with Katie Holmes lately seems a bit retarded, but other than that he's never done anything to really piss me off.

1938, but yeah. The original movie by Byron Haskin, special effects by George Pal, was fantastic and its influenced Sci Fi movies for the past 50 years even into today.
