If you right-click your avatar and chose properties, look at the URL. At the end it'll say your avatarusernumber_number.gif. The second number is the number of times you've changed your avvy. Like mine says avatar16957_70.gif

I might stick with this Avatar,I kind of like it.

Manufacture your own. I made mine out of the old Ob-Wan Kenobi (Sir Alex Guiness) and the new one (Ewan MacGregor) cause I thought it'd look cool. I don't know - try your idea of changing your avatar once per week. It might work!
