was listening to Howard Stern last week --he saw AOTC and said it was pretty good--his vote carries alot of clout amoung all ages --not sure what Tex-ass' personal delema is but why cant we all get along?--

he says it's bad so he doesn't get disappointed with the result

I've only heard good reviews so far so I'm staying optimistic about it all. I know Mrs.MM will only want to watch it once but I'm gonna go with my old man, my old mates from school, my drinking buddy and I'll take my nephew too. 5 times will do nicely. 😎

I've got my tickets for Thursday, except it's for the 7 pm showing.
not going to the midnight show; don't want to fight the crowd/line, and I hafta work, but going to ask for an hour off early to fight the traffic, find parking, and stand in line to get in. 😉

the critics always butcher GL and SW. If the movie doesn't have sex, crime, killing, cussing, the critics don't like it. If it's GL's movies, they get panned, blasted, and smoked. They just don't like movies that appeal to all ages, from 8 year olds to 88 year olds. I just ignore them, and enjoy his SW world, far, far away.

I hate critics that give movies like Harry Potter 5 stars, and give SW like 2 stars

Although I really like Harry Potter

keo is right - the critics bash GL and SW on a regular basis. I'd be stunned if they ever gave him a good review. Screw the critics. GL has been kind enough to us over the years to share his wonderful imagination with us and I for one enjoy every minute of it. If you're not interested in SW, don't go see the movies and don't complain about it. Thats my advice to the non-fans.

and this time it actually HAS good reviews...about 60-70% good, that's unusual.
