Sequels: Better or Worse?

i liked both the same maybe TTT jus a very little bit more 😄

What I didn't like about TTT is it's incredibly slow pace, but the Helm's Deep war is unforgettable and will be a classic.

the only bit in TTT i liked better than FOTR was Golem.. and Seeing more of the hot HALDIR!!!!

*sighs* ok.. i luv'd em both...

I think Terminator is far superior to T2.............the story is hundreds of times better, the only advantage T2 has over the original is the large budget and FX technology that had been invented.

Now.......to sequels that are actually better than the original.

I think Desperado is superior to El Mariachi (havn't seen OUATIM yet)
I think Book of Shadows is better that The Blair Witch Project
I think Friday the 13th parts 3,4,7 are all better than the first
I think Empire Strikes Back is better than Star Wars
I think Rocky II is better than Rocky
I think Silence of the Lambs is far superior to Manhunter
I think Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey is better than Excellent Adventure

dawn of the dead is arguably better the night of the living dead
day of the dead is arguably better then dawn of the dead
two towers is better if not equal too fellowship
T2
teenage mutant ninja turtles 2 is better then the first

PS. Book of shadows is garbage. has no redeeming qualities whatsoever, the first blair witch at least had a heart and had some unique qualities, book of shadows was just rushed out to capitalize on the firsts success.

once again...........I agree.......Book of Shadows sucked, I still think it's better......I could atleast stomach that movie......Blair Witch 1 made me just want to puke.

why? for a modern horror movie it was outstanding. somewhat unique, which is saying a huge amount in this day and age.

The Two Towers was better than The Fellowship of the Rings and also X-Men Two was heaps better than X-Men One. Didn't really like the Matrix Reloaded though and had thought that the Matrix was better.

2 fast 2 furious, this i liked!! Espically the sound track
Charlies Angel 2 Full throtle-- didnt like the first but this second was funny.

as i have said many times before T2 is the best sequel ever made

and i dont think that TTT counts as a sequel to FOTR.........its merely the continuation...........remember they made the entire sage in one shot

sequels are made only after the original comes out............so TTT and ROTK dont count

exactly.... but it is a sequal.. sequels are continuations of the first..

so, technically it does count.. 😛

aliens is better than alien, T2 is better T1 evil dead 2 is better than evil dead 1, empire is better than a new hope, and wrath of khan is better than the motion picture and thats pretty much it for sequal winners
