No idea... the structure is typically nordic germanic, similar to other well-known words (like on. 'ragnarök' &c), afaik it's also used as a Dwarf name in RPGs...
it could, though, also be an untypical sindarin word... meaning something like "demon-fire" (from raug+naur)
