What did Lucas screw up most on the DVDs

u forgot one.... the boba voice change! i hate that we all know hes really a jango clone but who cares he sounded so much cooler in the original 😠

He sounded awsome in the orginal. It is a shame really

I personally liked the addition of Ian McDiarmid in ESB, it always annoyed me that he didn't play the Emperor in that movie, even before I saw the prequels. What would have been an excellent change but yet they didn't do is redo the lightsaber blades in A New Hope...they look bad and almost fake compared to all the other movies.

I like those lightsabers, get your hands off of it. 😒

I cringe at Jabba's music.

It's pretty weird too that the sarlacc has a beak in his mouth now or something. What's up with that?

I hated that beak, it just nulified any kind of imagination of what actually happens when they fall down there. Yes, they get slowly digested but it seemed a lot scarier to me to have no discernable mouth and just be this hungry pit of death.

if there was an option that read: "Nothing" i would of voted 🙄

btw, only 2 of those listed were added to the DVD. The rest were inserted into the SE

The young Anakin at the end of ROTJ and Greedo shooting first were my only complaints.

Why is the new Ewok finale music up there? I liked it far more than the original.

BTW: To respond to the topic. I saw the revised OT just the other day. I could clearly see all the changes. Everytime some new added CGI thing came across I could really spot it clearly. Apperantly Lucas doesn't know how to properly use special effects anymore or something.

And Boba Fetts voice sucked major ass. Lucas actually managed to make the OT worse.. 😖

Yeah, there is no contest. Greedo shooting first. A travesty. Doesn't help that Lucas has changed it so they both shoot at the same time now. A travesty. Han was the archetypal spag western cowboy. He HAS to shoot first when some A-hole bug comes after him. That's the only way he's survived (Han was the perfect balancer between he and idealism of luke - and that scene provided the grittiest reality that the universe is DANGEROUS! We were cheated out of that when Lucas ripped that out. Worst of all, It is a LIE! There was ballsy TRUTH to that scene!). Cheevers! Lucas (God bless his genius brain anyways) has really lost touch. If Lucas had had his way, Indy would have taunted the fricking bolder before it had come smashering down the frickering tunnel in Raiders to make it more PC!!!!! Argh!!! And hey, George? Face it, Greedo had already said he was gonna waste Solo. So it's self defence! Why dija change it, baby?

Luckily, I didn't really notice that when I saw the revised version. Though I did manage to spot every CGI added thing. Apperantly, CGI isn't as realistic as the age old way of making special effects.

Greedo shooting first took away Han Solo's over all character. In the original, Han was a hard ass. He shot first first and asked questions later. He only cared about himself and making profits. At the end of ANH, Han saved Luke and it is the first time he really shows any heart. Bring back the cold hearted Han where he shots first. It makes the movie and character development better.

Exactly. That's his whole character arc.

And changing Fett's voice in Empire? Big mistake. He sounded like Clint Eastwood before. Another great little character texture gutted.
