Is there anything that God can not do?

Okay, to correct myself, Shaky. I'm sure God COULD force us to love/choose/follow Him. But, He does not do this. He has given us free will to decide for ourselves. So to correct myself, No there is nothing he CAN NOT do. 😄

By saying "he" you have limited God. My point has been much more subtle then just correcting you (although that has been fun).

God cannot be understood by humans. Any time we say anything about god, we are not correct. The bible cannot lead you to an understanding of God. People cannot explain any understanding of God. We cannot have a small understanding of God. We can’t even have correct ideas about God. No religion can understand God.

You and I can never understand God. Yet we are God.

God is the creative force just like we all are...We can create our destiny. We are only limited now by our physical bodies..

Sorry about that, but it says in the bible God works in mysterious ways. Also in Buddhism, the true nature of reality can never be understood.

The bible says alot of things, it's just a book... a bad one at that.

I am afraid your made up numbers do not impress me much. There is no way that this could be true because it was all made up afterwards. I’ll give you an example:

What are the chances of a stone in New York landing at the bottom Creator Lake in Oregon? Not very good, unless I, when I was in New York, took the rock and carried it with me on my journey home. I then, on a visit to Creator Lake, tossed it over the edge when no one was looking. Now Benjamin Franklin, 300 years earlier, said of this same rock, it would end up one-day at the bottom of a great creator far to the west. Therefore, the prophecies came true. (I made this up).

The bible was put together by people who wished to make Jesus bigger then life. They told stories and made a lot of stuff up. They didn’t do this out of fraud, they took from the beliefs of the time and tried to stay as true as they could, but they had no way of understanding the way that fact and legend merge to become something greater.

If you don’t believe me, think about the wild west and write down what you have heard. Then do the research and find out what really happened. It is amazing how many tails we have all heard about the west that are, not true.
