Kit, Plo, Mace vs Sidious, Anakin ROTS

I was just thinking this would be a kinda nice 3-on-2 fight to see and as where it is I dunno except not in water. just tell me who you'd think win Kit Plo and Mace or Sidious and Anakin ROTS

well it all depends on who sidious fights first

if he goes and fights mace, the jedi win, if he fights plo or kit, the sith win. see i, unlike most people, belive mace won that fight with sidious and sidous didnt throw the fight so anakin would come to his aid. so mace would beat sidious, i think plo and kit would take anakin pretty easily and the fights over. but sidious would easily kill kit fisto and im sure plo koon if he fought them first. anakin could probably hold off mace long enough for sidious to join him. and i think together anakin and sidious could take mace.

I think it depends on one's perspective - whether Mace is actually better than or equal to Sidious or not. This was unclear in the movie, so I think that both points have validity.

Sorry if I sound newbish about this, but if you think that then why/how did Sidious gain power back so easilyafter appearing to be like dieing right after Anny cut off his arm...?

Yeah, I know - I myself lean towards the point of view that Sidious was putting on an act, but I don't think anything is written in stone with regard to this. So I think Human Vader still has a good point.

sidious couldnt beat mace with the lightning, but once he lost his lightsaber, sidious saw he was unarmed and attack him.

i think that yes sidious tried to manipulate anakin when he was like "omg i cant hold on any longer1111!!!!!!!!1111!!11 help me anakin!!!!!!!!1111!!1!" but i dont think he lost the fight on purpose, i mean he didnt know for sure anakin would have even come, im sure if he could have, he would have beat mace.

Agreed, but come on, do you actually think a sith lord like Sidious couldn't feel him coming?

perhaps he could have, but wouldnt vader have felt luke and leia being born????

As to the Luke and Leia thing, I think that's more of an issue of foresight.

However, to Serra, did he expect his lightning to backfire, if he planned the thing? Or did he just go with it when it did backfire?

no dipsit, id say he didnt, he was still trying to kill mace, but mace was defending himself with the lightsaber, like obi wan had against dooku's lightning (as im sure you know). relying on anakin was a last resort, im sure. i mean did he really think anakin could have beat mace? hes not that powerful but he was smart. as we know, anakin caught mace totally off guard, theres no way anakin would have beaten him fair and square

well no its not foresight, im not trying to be rude, but how is it foresight by feeling your children who are both very high force sensitives being born?

I don't really think it backfired, I just think he might have gave it all his might and Mace gave his which made his true face be revealed by all of the pain/anger or something i really can't answer that...

Definitely. I was actually defending your point. I was kind of challenging Serra to answer, because, although I agree that Sidious did have some premeditation in that fight, I don't think it's totally clear either way. So, I just wanted to get across the point that both of you have the right to believe what you do. This issue is controversial, and neither of you are idiots, so I wanted Serra to recognize the lack of definitiveness surrounding this whole thing. That's all. I still like both of you.
