What was the most gutsy, brave move ever done in Marvel or DC?

What was the most gutsy or brave move, (no matter how utterly stupid it was, cuz sometimes they are) ever done in a Marvel or DC comic?

I think it was either when Juggernaut was willing to fight Eternity, or when Drax actually had the nerve to blast Death herself.

What does everyone else think?

This goes beyond brave or gutsy, it's something different, I can't even describe it. Genis' battle with his son Ely for the fate of Marlo, and the world. To save everyone, he had to erase his son from existence. Pretty hardcore.

Sounds like Abraham and Isaac. Cant beat that

Dr. Strange basically challenging Eternity and LT to a fight.

aunt may knocking spidy out with a vase.....u never know how a dude is going to react after that....that took some balls.........

Another very brave move was in a recent Exiles issue when Namora tried to fight Hyperion all by himself. Even though it was an underwater fight, where Namora is stronger, u gotta remember something, that is the same Hyperion that killed Galactus!

Yeah but Spidey would never hurt Aunt May. He might be mad at her but he won't do anything.

Ah, this too. This took balls of adamantium.

Actually on second thought. Here are some incidents worthy of mention at least.

I think when Thanos was willing to give the heroes a .001% chance of victory in the INfinity Guantlet was pretty crazy on Thanos' part. He wanted to impress Death, and the Surfer almost ripped the guantlet off his hands.

Also, when the Beyonder gave up his power to become mortal (Secret Wars #2). That was ridiculous.

Also, when Thor took on the Celestials (Thor #300/387-389):

Thor knew he had no chance in beating the Celestials, yet was willing to risk it all. In #300, Gaea had to offer the 12 special humans to the Celestials, or else Thor was meat. In #389, Thor destroyed his hammer before the Celestials pulled out.

On THIRD THOUGHT:

CAP America stood in front of Thanos in the same Infinity Gauntlet, and didn't flinch a lick before Thanos was ready to rip his head off.

Captain America facing off against IG wielding Thanos without the slightest bit of hesitation

Hourman Rick Tyler jumping into a portal ni time willing to die in his fathers place as the Hourman killed by Extent

Wildcat fighting the entire Injustice Society in a bath towel

I think it was a 0.05% chance 🙂

Yep, that's it right there.

"As long as one man.... just ONE MAN stands in front of you, Thanos... you'll never win."

Either way 😄 😄

Not a good idea on Thano's part, but he had to do it to prove to Death that he was brave.

NIce Pic Long Pig

Dr. Strange is seriously HARD.

He was actually willing to face Death in order to save Clea in the old days!

I have the issue somewhere in my stacks

All you guys are talking about walks in the park compared to some of the stuff Constantine has pulled.

He took Death on, and layed her on her ass.

Nice pic again.

the issue I'm talking about--Dr. Strange lays down in front of Death, and Eternity saves the day.

This issue was back in the late 70s

One more, because seeing it again made me giddy.

bottem right, Strange is basically saying "You wanna peice of me Death? Bring it on!"

Oh, the one with Clea?? I have a scan somewhere.
