I'm not a huge cruise fan, he's made some really good movies, and some kinda crappy ones. But this whole media tear down of the guy and the sheep who have jumped the band wagon are a joke. If it makes you feel cool to jump on a trend of disliking an actor, whether you are aware that you are following the trend or not, that would make you pathetic.

Hey Top Gun happens to be one of my fav movies! now Top Gun is something that I just love to watch, those planes and all, I love it, I tihnk its a great movie, Top playes good, the plot is also good, I dont know I just cant really put my finger on that special something that Top Gun has, its just so very good, also about Tom's personal life, I see no reason why everybody is hating him, those things you say about him dont give you the right to hate him

Top Gun was nothing more than The Fast and the Furious of it's time.

In my opinion.

Loads of (THEN) "cool" actors, a (THEN) hot chick, large machines that make the men driving them look supposedly powerful, near enough without a story.

How can you even consider that? this is the real thing, Top Gun that thing acturly exsists, and the movie dosent have have the crap directing and actors as those new movies, also I love the music in this movie, specialy the Top Gun Anthem, very good playing by who ever it is, Steven something I think, also what you said is stupit its like saying, The old Batman from the 80's with Jack Nicholson is just as bad as Spiderman or what be it of todays super hero movies, guys wearing masks, and fighting the badass villian and some lady that hangs around them.

The difference between Batman and Top Gun is that one had great actors, a great story and a great director. It's a great movie.

Top Gun is famous and a fairly legendary movie but not for the reasons that a movie should be legendary.

Top Gun exists, big deal. So does street racing. Doesn't make shit movies about vehicles going vroom vroom, any more exciting.

I have been hearing these jokes and comments about Tom Cruise being gay for a while and I never got it and I still don't get it.

Can someone please explain to me what Tom Cruise did to make people jump to this assumption.

Let me state that I am not against or for Tom Cruise, he is who he is. I don't really know him like that, and I haven't seen many of his movies either so I can't really say anything about him in that way. I am just asking a question here.

Tom cruise's career will be just fine. Personally, i dont like the guy. He is a good actor and all, but there is somthing about him that doesnt mesh well with me. Well Toms new movie is doing very well. Its doing very well and will be his biggest movie.
