This is NOT about Ultra Humanite either, the only time a character outside of the debate should ever even be mentioned would be to draw a reasonable comparison.
Ultra Humanite is intelligent I'll say that, and far stronger than a normal man, but is so far from a match for Supes it's not funny, just sad.
As for the plant thing... I dunno what the deal was with that, that would be like snapping vines for Supes.
Now, the very early episodes are far from Goku at his best, we all know that, so please, for that sake of sanity keep it with best pre crisis supes against best Goku.

It's Post-Crisis Superman were using not pre though.
