War In Iraq

personally i'm for the war in iraq...i'm only sorry that bush snr didn't finish what he started back in 1990/91...that way the hundreds of thousands of shi'ites that rose up against saddam and were subsequently slaughtered might not have been lost...but once again the French etc didn't want that to happen and as a result of bush snr thinking that public opinion would be against that idea...we had to wait another 11 years before getting rid of saddam

The war in Iraq is just another Vietnam without domestic hippies to help stop it, except this war is worse than 'nam, in that it's the only war in american history were the US was the aggresor, Saddam did nothing to America, GWB just couldn't allow the UN to 100% prove that there were weapons, he had to blow the shit out of Iraq to prove it, and thus noboby know's were Osama is, when Osama's the only real threat here! Also, Kid Rock, along with being for the slaugtering of young american lives, I assume you are pro-life as well. 😛

War, well I don't mind war...I just don't like to get lied to....but I can understqand why he did....hmm except for that well from my own view I'd think he shouldn't have started the war and I don't think he is doing anything good, but I don't really care too much

My quarel is not with the war itself just the hipocracy. The fact that we were alied with alot of these guys at one time or another during the cold war. There are still alot of dictatorships in the world that are still unmatched. It was not a war on terror it seems. Just a war on sadam.

nevertheless war i do not believe is the answer only peace. 🙂

I'm a bit dissapointed with the war in Iraq, it's nowhere near as cool as Vietnam or WWII.

George Bush can't hold a candle next to the likes of Hitler. Now that guy knew how to do the war-thing.

I personally prefer the prequels to be honest, maybe it's due to the fact the technology meant the action was more soldier-driven. These days it's all about the technology, and I don't find it anywhere near as entertaining.

I agree with you on that point. I happen to be a proponent of the war in Iraq and the message it was supposed to send to the rest of the world. The United States is still the strongest military power in the world. George Bush and his military advisers obviously bungled the delivery.

I don't want to get into Saddam defying the UN for years or the US invasion being as unilateral as it was, but I would happily discuss it with any openminded individual.
