Did anyone ever think that maybe lightning doesn't come directly out of your hands? Think about it if it came right out of your hands Palpatine's hands in ROTJ would have been burnt beyond use from all the lightninging he does. So the whole Vaders a robot thing isn't really a good explanation for why he doesn't use lightning. Sidious either didn't teach it to him or we don't see him use it or he didn't want to learn it because maybe he prefers to choke about 500 people like in ESB. If you think about it a choke kills quicker than lightning because lightning is just better for torture.

Lightning is more painful, in any case. But not the point.
My reasoning is that the lightning for Vader would come from about the area of his stub. Not directly from the stub, since it doesn't directly come from the hands. But near it. However, his robotic arms are in the way of his stubs. Metal conducts electricity, and I don't want to hear 'Force Lightning is not normal lightning!' because just look at Vader being toasted by Palpatine's lightning. Even after the lightning stops hitting him, it's still arcing around in his systems. The lightning would do that to him, if he emitted it.

did you happen to notice he was able to push Obi-Wan with the force quite easily and powerfully. I think lightning is one of the most advanced Dark Side techniques.
I don't believe Vader's suit made it impossible for him to use it I think he was never attuned with any skills of the dark side. If you notice he never displays any non Jedi powers he just uses them for evil.
