Zauriel WITH EASE:
The Angelic power still within Zauriel's now-mortal body is still stronger than the average. This allows Zauriel to be capable of listing somewhere around three thousand tons under extreme circumstances. His body is resistant enough that he would be able to lift such weights without causing strain on his own system immediately, with some internal effects to his body happening after an hour or so. He will not be able to lift heavier objects, even with pushing his powers to their maximum. He is able to punch a hole through a six-inch steel wall with effort and not end up injuring his hand.Zauriel possess the traditional Angel's wings, which have a wingspan of twenty feet across, which allow him to fly at incredible speeds. His highest speed is somewhere around 150,000 miles per hour, allowing himself to fly anywhere on Earth within seconds. But, flight at those speeds will cause damage to things around him due to the breaking of the sound barrier, so his usual casual flight speed is just under the speed of sound. He is able to fly on Earth and in the ocean, with the wings providing propulsion. This flight would not function in deep space, since there is no air or atmosphere to push against his wings to propel him forward. Should his wings be bound, he would be unable to fly.
One of the main powers Zauriel was allowed to keep was his Sonic Cry. The Sonic cry is a musical shout in the Angelic Musical speech, which has various effects when used. The Cry can only be used in a planet's atmosphere; it cannot function underwater or in the deep vacuum of space. Using the Cry also strains Zauriel's mortal shell, which could result in massive internal damage if used too many times in sucession. The sonic waves can disrupt the Angelic form on the physical Plane, which could disperse an Angel into his or her component atoms for years, with the Angel reforming after that time has elapsed. To regular flesh, the cry at full strength could possibly liquefy the matter, like it does to everything up to steel, working with about 20 tons of force behind it. As a mortal being, the force both ways: Zauriel needs to brace himself while using the Cry or he will be pummeled backward by his own force.
Zauriel's body cannot regenerate lost limbs per se, as he can be killed by extensive injury (again, such as decapitation). However, his natural healing rate is many times faster than that or a normal human's. Without any exertion after the injury, Zauriel would be able to heal a gunshot wound in about ten seconds (that's if the bullets gets past his resistances). Burns would heal in a matter of hours, and he would only require a day or two to heal a broken limb.Including his enhanced Physiology, due to being an Angel taken mortal form, Zauriel's body is highly durable even without the armor. His eyes are protected from the damages of high-speed flight, and his body is able to withstand extreme pressures and temperatures. He can walk on the Moon at Superman's side and not feel cold, or he can visit Atlantis without needing a respirator or pressure suit, as well as walk into a burning building unscathed. His skin can stop a lot of the major damages of bullets, though a needle can still get through (as when Jerry injected him to stop his heart so he could enter Heaven and rescue Shannon during the Second rebellion).
Zauriel owns and uses a prototypical Armor created by Heaven's most proficient engineers. Realizing Zauriel might be outmatched by some of the stronger entities on the mortal plane, the armor was designed with his preservation in mind. The armor itself is form-fitted to Zauriel, self-cleaning. The main garment is a bodysuit of an unknown cloth weave, with golden Enochian symbols of a mystical origin woven into the fabric. Over this is equipped a main harness in wrought strengthened gold, protecting the shoulders and torso which allow Zauriel full use of his wings, while bracers and greaves of the same metal cover his forearms and lower legs, respectively. The helmet is of a wrought, highly-resistant gold alloy, with a faceplate that extends just past the center of his eyes. The armor is light, but incredibly resistant to damage, able to take on a direct hit from the Shaggy Man and not be dented. This will also result in Zauriel not getting pulped from such a hit. The armor itself can stop anything short of a anti-aircraft tank shell and allow Zauriel to remain unharmed.
In the tradition of the Angelic Host, Zauriel possesses and was allowed to keep his Angelic Sword when he chose to leave Heaven and become the Presence and Host's Agent. The sword is a standard Western-style longsword; the blade is three feet in length, uniform until it tapers to a point. The metals involved in their forging are unknown, but are of a strong enough steel-like alloy that Superman would have a difficult time bending, let alone breaking. The hilt and quillions are made of the same material with gold-plating, allowing for Zauriel to balance the wielding of it. The sword can appear to be a traditional sword, bursting into flame at Zauriel's mental command.
he Heaven-Mystic fire of the sword can burn at degrees up to and including 3000 degrees Fahrenheit, which makes it capable of cutting through must man-made metals, including the high-grade steel used for air and space-craft. This fire can set most flammable objects on fire at contact, and would be able to melt through the surface of a glacier in the Arctic Circle after about ten seconds of contact. The blade is empowered to affect incorporeal beings, such as ghosts and malevolent spirits, as well as being able to cleave through mystical barriers and force-fields. Barriers made to resist the sword itself, such as what Dr. Fate or Merlin could create, would not be affected by the sword.
