For those of you wondering when I'd write something new... Here you go. I wrote this yesterday while being half asleep. I dont have a title for it yet. I have never been good with titles, but oh well. Enjoy!

There are things that I cannot control
Like the feelings you have for me
I never asked you to fall in love
Nor did I expect you to do so
You see, love isnt something I look for anymore
To me its a foolish heart's desire
One that, no matter how hard you try,
Really cant be obtained
I am sorry that I let things get this far
I hope that what I have done can be forgiven
And that your heart can recover
Although it pains me,
I have to say good-bye to this thing we have
I know you may not understand or agree
But it is truly for the best
So dont cry, I am not deserving of your tears
Just take the fun times we've had, cherish them so,
And find the one who can keep his promises
Because...

(I cant find the words or the strength to tell you how I truly feel)

It's the dead of night
Once again sleep evades me
Not for the typical reasons
No not tonight
The cause?
My thoughts of you
The warmth of your body
The taste of your lips
The smell of your skin
What I wouldnt give
To have you here with me
If only my thoughts were reality
Maybe then I could convince you to never leave
Dreaming of you somehow feels like it'd be better
Than this torture I currently eudure
At least then I could pretend it were true
The empty pillow at my side reminds me that
Not only am I awake, but alone as well
I close my eyes and see your face
As I knew I would
Though the image is faint
It's keeps me from missing you too much
And just like that I fall fast alseep still wondering
If my thoughts of you will ever come true
